“After my fourth attempt, using a multitude of “remediation, refresher, and study” courses, I had almost given up hope. I met up with John, and he was able to teach me in a way that was both highly engaging and extremely helpful. He helped me understand the How’s, What’s, and Why’s! John was also phenomenal about making the tutoring sessions personal to my needs. I didn’t feel like I was just another student. I give credit to John, passing the National Medic Test on my next attempt. I honestly could not have done it without him. I highly recommend utilizing his expertise and his unique teaching style.”

“When looking for a teacher, we all obviously want someone that is intelligent and skilled in their area of expertise. John is definitely intelligent and skilled, but what sets him apart are his other qualities. His passion for teaching and paramedicine is evident and unparalleled. He wants his students to succeed and will do everything he can to help a student learn the content and pass the national. He is a very sociable and outgoing person that makes learning this material more enjoyable and makes students feel more comfortable asking for help. His experience in the EMS and the Fire Service helps him to be able to explain and relate things in ways that may be easier for his students to understand. His dedication to his students is truly incredible and unlike anything I’ve seen before. If you are ready to learn and willing to put in the necessary work, John is a great teacher that will do everything in his power to ensure you succeed.”

“John was my Paramedic Instructor, I can honestly say it was an incredibly impactful experience—largely because of our instructor. What set him apart was his ability to truly meet students where they were. No matter how complex the topic, he had a way of breaking things down into understandable pieces, while also being more than willing to dive deeper whenever we wanted a more in-depth explanation. He never rushed the learning process and made sure we weren’t just memorizing information, but actually understanding it. Beyond the classroom, his dedication was just as strong. He was always available when we needed help, guidance, or reassurance, and that level of accessibility made a huge difference during such a challenging program. “I would 110% recommend it to anyone struggling to pass the national exam or needing a boost in paramedic class. I enjoyed and learned a lot from the session I had with the instructor. He is very knowledgeable and willing to try different ways to explain. It was a great confidence boost after the sessions leading up to the national.”

“I was the luckiest person to have John as my paramedic instructor. Thanks to his teaching, format, and organization, I have never felt more prepared and confident to take on anything in life, especially the NREMT. Despite the rigorous amount of information and procedures we learn, the environment he creates on day one is beyond friendly and easy to digest. He is the type of instructor who instantly makes you feel connected, like family. His incredible depth of knowledge is simply amazing. His love for teaching is unwavering, and he is always willing to be there for you with any questions you have or any struggles you may be facing. I left his course with the knowledge that will last me a lifetime. If I am going to learn, I want to learn with the best, and I am so glad I had the opportunity to do it through him. “I exhausted my attempts at the NREMT Paramedic exam and was feeling stuck, with a lot of self-doubt after being unsuccessful. After going through John’s Paramedic program, I passed shortly after graduating. What sets him apart is how he teaches—he focuses on helping you understand why things are happening in the body so you can think through scenarios and create the right solution. He simplifies complex concepts to limit overthinking, and he challenges you to truly know the material rather than guess, which builds real confidence and understanding. “John was an absolutely phenomenal instructor! I've never met someone so forward and dedicated to teaching paramedicine. I feel like I not only understood paramedicine but understood the field as a result of his course. It didn't feel like I was just showing up to a class, it felt like I was immersed every single day; there was always an interesting case or funny story behind each piece of knowledge he instilled. John also made his passion apparent, if there was ever a question he didn't offhand have a full concrete answer to, he'd pursue with his due diligence to provide an educated and informed answer. All in all he was a phenomenal instructor, his breadth of knowledge was as deep as well. John's love for EMS made me show up to class enthusiastic to come and learn from him every single day.”

“I was lucky enough to have John as my primary instructor through paramedic school. John has visible passion for teaching and will work with any student, no matter what their learning style is. Paramedic school is not an easy course and John has an ability to break down difficult subjects and make them more relatable and memorable. John’s intellect is second to none and his ability to convey that knowledge resonates with any student he works with. John is funny and likes to make learning more fun and engaging. He won’t lecture you in a monotone voice that makes you lose focus. His prior experience both in Pre-hospital and In hospital care allow insight into care continuum. Without a doubt, John has been one of the most influential and supportive people in my fire service career and he continues to be so.”

“ John was a joy to study with. He's knowledgeable, driven, and relatable. All great qualities of an exceptional instructor. He structures his lectures in a way that is easily understandable. His emphasis on understanding the material rather than just memorizing it helped me finally pass the NREMT exam. I was one of John's students his first-year teaching Paramedic class. Not only did he set up a very successful class from scratch, but he also spent almost every bit of his free time doing more to help the students. Through extra study sessions, private lessons, adjusting his teaching to our needs. All John wants to see is his students or anyone he is helping to succeed. He is definitely worthy of a 5-star rating, and anyone who uses his services will not be disappointed.
